OTUMFUO PEACE INITIATIVE DIALOGUE SERIES
The Otumfuo Peace Initiative (OPI) Dialogue Series, led by E ON 3 Group and driven by the vision of His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, is a leadership forum of choice for advancing peace, reconciliation, and sustainable development in Ghana and Africa.
Established on the Pillar of Peace legacy of Otumfuo, the series institutionalizes dialogue as a decisive tool for managing conflicts, building stronger governance, and promoting inclusive nation-building.
VISION
To establish a premier Pan-African peace dialogue forum that brings together traditional leaders, policymakers, scholars, youth, and civil society to address pressing peace and development challenges through inclusive and culturally grounded discussions.

PEACE INITIATIVES
TAKING THE PEACE AGENDA TO THE GLOBAL STAGE
Invited by UNGA President María Fernanda Espinosa, he spoke on the theme “Partnership for a Culture of Peace: Mobilizing Traditional Leadership and Communities for Peace and Security.
MAKING PEACE BETWEEN TAKYIMAN AND ASANTE TOWNS
Otumfuo’s mediation, wisdom, and commitment to dialogue gradually restored calm. His personal outreach, including a 2017 visit to the Takyimanhene’s Palace, symbolised reconciliation and reaffirmed his dedication to unity.
Mediating the 2016 General Elections
Otumfuo Osei Tutu II played a vital mediating role in the 2016 general elections, by holding quiet meetings with both candidates at Manhyia Palace to build trust and secure commitments to peace.
RESOLVING THE KNUST CRISIS & HELPING THE DISTRESSED YOUTH
When violent student protests threatened Ghana’s premier university in 2018, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II stepped in as Chancellor, uniting all parties and restoring calm.
OTUMFUO: A PILLAR OF PEACE
During the Awukudae festival on July 17, 2019, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II announced the launch of the Asanteman Landscape Restoration Programme.
THE KUMASI DECLARATION
It has been said that elections in Africa provide the greatest security threats to the nations on the Continent. Ghana, however, has been widely celebrated for its peaceful yet competitive elections and transitions following elections.

ANNUAL SUMMIT
The Annual Summit is the Peace Initiative Dialogue Series flagship conference, bringing together monarchs, heads of state, UN agencies, and global thought leaders. It is a high-level platform to influence dialogue, create partnerships, and drive Africa's peace and development agenda.

REGIONAL DIALOUGE
Organised throughout West Africa, the Regional Dialogues confront urgent issues like elections, land conflicts, and resource rivalries. During these sessions, stakeholders are brought together to formulate community-based solutions and strengthen traditional leadership in peacebuilding.

YOUTH PEACE LABS
Youth Peace Labs are innovation spaces where young leaders co-design peacebuilding initiatives with elders, experts, and traditional authorities. The Labs empower youth through skills and mentorship to ensure that Otumfuo's legacy of peace lives on across generations.

POLICY & RESEARCH ADVOCACY
Through collaborations with think tanks and universities, the Research & Policy Advocacy feature of the Peace Initiative Dialogue Series produces case studies, policy briefs, and recommendations that are based on indigenous knowledge.
Contributing to enhance governance and shape policy on peacebuilding at the national and regional levels, passing Otumfuo's fire of peacebuilding down to generations to come.
